Kratom is related to the coffee plant, and when a friend of mine had told me about it, I suggested it to my wife. She, in fact had heard about it and wanted to try it but with all that is going on in life, let it slip her mind. When it comes to fibromyalgia, any word of things helping just seem to be pipe dreams like tales of unicorns. Anything that helps, just helps like 1% and seems to be more trouble or energy (spoons) than its worth. So when my wife reported that this stuff called kratom, everyone pronounces it differently, was working for her, I was relieved. I wanted to make sure I could keep getting it because it was definitely better than all those pain pills. They were a necessary evil but we had hoped for some alternative and could kratom really be it? My highest hopes were that it could be an alternative to the pain pills. For the most part however, kratom has replaced them. It was when the government threatened once again to make kratom illegal and my wife’s medicine sources started to dry up or get expensive that we sprung into action.
